Description
The wines from GAIL are inspired by France's Loire Valley and the idea of waiting for a wine rather than forcing it to do something. The wines are all fermented with native yeast in large neutral vessels and spend extended time on the spent lees, which avoids having to use more sulfur than is absolutely necessary. This Chenin Blanc comes from the organic Two Creeks Farm in Sonoma Valley AVA, the only vineyard of Chenin in the region. Only 125 cases total were produced and the result is a juicy wine with some seriously electric acid making it a lip-smacking refresher, like a lemon drop all grown up!
