Description
The name itself alludes to its style, Luna D’Agostino (August Moon) – a reference to the slightly early harvest of the grapes. This premature harvest preserves the acidity and allows for an explosion of flavors and aromas. The first sniff brings hints of citrus and tropical fruit. The first sip, delicious tart apple and juicy white peaches. Dry as a bone and minerally in its long finish, this pairs well anything. Try this with fresh cheese, bread, and charcuterie; fish, mussels, or white meats; and grilled pretty much anything. Go ahead and experiment, this one is hard to pair wrong. -Brian Krause, Surdyk's Staff
