Barefoot wines are the result of an effort on the part of a U.S. company working to beat Australia at the baseline price good value game. The Pinot Noir from Barefoot certainly does that very nicely. Red cherry fruit is light bodied and accented by typical spice notes. This is an excellent wine to use for making Boeuf Bourguignon and to enjoy while making it.
