Oregon is most famous for their cool climate Pinot Noirs. This is so much a part of their renown that few people pay much, if any, attention to the white wines. This white is the product of the collaborative efforts of owner, winemaker, and other staff members at Sokol Blosser Winery. There are 9 different grape varieties used to make this, in some ways, chameleon-like wine. Taken at face value it shows citrus and tropical aromas and flavors. It is
medium-bodied, flavorful and refreshing – end of story. Except when it is paired with food. And one last word: Thanksgiving. Nine varietals means something for everyone and it’s versatile enough to be enjoyed before, during, or after your Thanksgiving meal.
