Surdyk’s Fall Beer Recipes ~ featuring Crispin

Halloween is one holiday you are never too old to celebrate! (If you visit our store on Halloween, you’ll see we mean it!) Mix up some cider cocktails for your party!

 


 

Crispin Collins

with Crispin Pear Cider

  • 6oz Crispin Pear Cider
  • 3oz Dry Lemon Soda
  • 1 tsp Agave or Simple Syrup
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Pour Cider and Soda over ice and gently stir.  Garnish with a lemon wedge.


Raspberry Crisp

Mix equal parts Crispin Brut with Framboise Lambic Beer.


Crispin Blackberry Pear Sangria

with Crispin Blackberry Pear

  • 6 bottles of Crispin Blackberry Pear
  • ½ cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 peach, diced.
  • 1 pear, diced.
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Prep base 24 hours in advance: Mix two bottles of the Crispin, pomegranate juice and sugar into a pitcher. Add fruit to mixture. Soak fruit overnight. When ready to serve, pour the final 4 bottles into the pitcher, stir, and serve over ice, making sure fruit chunks make it into the glass.


 

Ginger Fizz

with Crispin Blackberry Pear

  • 2 bottles Crispin Blackberry Pear
  • 3oz Blackberry Puree
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 12oz ginger ale
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 4 springs fresh basil

Puree blackberries and sugar in a blender. Let stand, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes. Strain puree through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher. Stir Crispin cider, ginger ale, and lime juice in pitcher with puree. Pour over ice, and garnish with basil.


Crispin Pear Mojito

with Crispin Blackberry Pear

  • 6 oz Crispin Blackberry Pear Cider
  • 12 ripe blackberries
  • 1 thinly sliced pear
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice

Muddle blackberries, mint leaves, sugar, and lime juice in a tall glass. Add ice and Crispin cider. Stir well, garnish with pear wedge.
